This year the Azerbaijan Center and the Houston-Baku Sister City Association were thrilled to have one of its community member and student of Texas A&M participating in the annual International Week 2015 organized by the TAMU International Students Association in College Station, TX: Laman Abdullayeva.
Each year Texas A&M’s international students and organizations present a week of events showcasing the many cultures, foods and talents of the university’s international population, reports TAMU Today.
The Memorial Student Center of Texas A&M hosted the I-Exhibit on Thursday April 23rd 2015, one of the signature events of I-Week. It features cultural and traditional exhibits presented by international students at Texas A&M. I-Exhibit not only celebrates the international diversity of the university, but also offers the student body an opportunity to learn about different countries around the world and their culture via interactive cultural displays, reports TAMU Today.
We are proud to announce that, thanks to the great work and energy of Laman Abdullayeva for her performance and display during the I-Week 2015, Azerbaijan received the third place at the I-Exhibit 2015.
